Caldera is a non-profit based in Portland, Oregon that teaches youth the power that creativity has to change their lives and their communities.
Founded by Dan Wieden in 1997, Caldera started as a summer camp near Sisters, Oregon. Realizing that youth needed art more than just in the summer, the program expanded to include weekend events in Portland and Central Oregon, as well as a Caldera class in 12 Middle Schools throughout the state.

Camp Caldera takes place near Sisters, Oregon in the summer months of July and August. The camp is free to the youth, who are recommended by school counselers and Caldera staff. Three sessions, ranging from 7-10 days, are offered each summer.
